Role and responsibilities:
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets, including hardware and software, ensuring timely upgrades and replacements according to the end-of-life schedules
- Vulnerability Remediation: Lead the identification, assessment, and remediation of vulnerabilities within the IT infrastructure to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with security standards
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop and execute detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets, for lifecycle management and vulnerability remediation initiatives
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all IT assets and remediation activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Prepare and present comprehensive reports to management and other stakeholders
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with end-of-life assets and vulnerabilities, and develop mitigation strategies
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the procurement and disposal of IT assets, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality service
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in IT asset lifecycle management and vulnerability remediation
- Proficient with Microsoft suite
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity principles, and vulnerability management tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
The salary range for this role is US$90,000 - US$140,000
